Is this is a serious project? The Github page has been saying "There is nothing to see here yet." for the past three years. Sounds dead to me.

I prefer Adobe's Source Code Pro Light on a Retina screen. The Retina part is important, I don't think this is a nice font on a low-dpi screen :-)

Sounds like a cool project. But really, no documentation, no sample code, not even a whitepaper? Just a Buy Now button? It probably isn't, but it sounds like a scam. Better put out some actual code to show that this is for real.

Yeah it is a Dell U2410. Not sure what they did but it looks just fine rotated. I also have an older one from 2008 which looks very horrible in portrait mode.

Here is a photo oh my setup in the Mozilla Toronto office: https://www.flickr.com/photos/19132706@N00/8867085758/ Very basic: I do all my work on the MacBook (I love the Retina display) but have a browser with devtools open on an extern

Your answer explains well why so many people in this thread do not understand the Mozilla mission very well. Mozilla sees the Internet not as a bunch of bits and bytes and protocols but instead as an integral part of people's lives. As a wa

Notice that over the past several years, in each data set, that Firefox's usage has dropped off, or at best not grown. The Mozilla Manifesto has nothing to do with Market Share. Any dent that Mozilla is able to make in the fabric of the n

Funny how this is downvoted. Fact is that Debian has always been outdated. For some that is a strength, for most it is a frustration.

Every single release of OwnCloud includes security fixes. From XSS to SQLi. I have very little confidence in that PHP project from a security point of view.

We decided to rewrite the API. This was an easy decision, clearly our Ruby on Rails API wasn't going to scale well and coming from many years of Java development and having written a bunch of things that handled tons of load with way less

No. Proprietary techniques and algorithms are a bit harder to find out but are then usually just as fragile or secure as their open (source) counterparts. History has proven this over and over again.

I don't think the Content Security Policy for standalone Firefox OS apps allows that. I think it is all or nothing; you are either a packaged and self-contained 'privileged' app, or you are a web app that is loaded from the web.
