I can appreciate some of the sentiment here, but, how do you start the startup without an idea.. you have nothing to actually sell to your customers. No idea of what to do for them for money.

Seems like “we want you in the office and if you don’t we’ll pay you less”. I disagree. I think you should be paid for how well you can do your job.

The examples are about Canada’s education system but seem to apply broadly to western countries. It’s also largely about shadowy “agents” that are in foreign countries recruiting the students and helping them with the process (for a cut).

It might depend on the internal talent, but, ERP vendors are always going to be incentivised to deliver “just good enough” software and then sit back and take in the cash.. so I’d think with an internal team you _may_ have the opportunity t

It’s UX is unbearable! Individual functionality is pretty good - teams channels, chat, video, but the UX bringing these things together is total garbage!

Yep agreed. Early fb would be fine for what I’d like to have to keep in touch with friends. Because of the ‘media’ machine it’s become - the curated feed, videos everywhere, ads and creepy-level tracking I don’t use it any more.

I suspect you’re probably right but I can’t comprehend how anyone other than those who benefit from the digital advertising industry could accept that its ok for anyone (I.e. Everyone) to know everything about them. Isn’t it straightforward

I don’t think it exists but should. In practice the vendors won’t allow it - why would they make it easier for you to leave? In fact many make it very difficult currently. Maybe they’d agree to an automated signup (only) via API but maybe
