This is my worry. Can the 1.2GHz version run IntelliJ and SBT comfortably "for the most part" (I don't really mind if a clean compile takes ~30% longer) or will I wish I'd bought the 13" i7 MBA? I wish I knew how to

Ditto all this. I haven't read the Medium post, but just looking at the website: I have no idea what it is or what it does for me, and I'm being asked to sign-up first thing. Further reading still doesn't answer any questions

The Neophyte's Guide to Scala is the best language intro I've read. No other platform I'm aware of has anything like Typesafe Activator, which is an awesome learning/tutorial resource. There's also Scala Koans out t

Ditto. Too fast. For me this isn't an exemplar of effective communication. It's a complete failure to deliver whatever that animation was trying to communicate because I only got 1 second each to absorb the text and the slide. May

This reads like you're just point-scoring at this point. If the site worked on the Tube before, and now it doesn't, that's a pretty massive failing.

The copy needs a fair bit of work. It needs to be more brief. The sentence fragments are difficult to read. It only works if I imagine two voices, like one of those commercials employing a fake conversation.

JSON is still rendered. It's not "render or send JSON", it's "render a string that contains formatted display output A, or a string that contains structured data B". Facebook probably requires a lot of per-user

I should have mentioned the assumption you'd be caching the render on the server. My bad. So I imagined it as 1 render vs potentially thousands. Another thing to note: You'd (probably) have to try real hard to find a server side t

I never noticed that. (I switched to Macs around 8 years ago.) Huh. In that case I guess I have to wonder what the point is? Why store three hashes as opposed to just upper-casing the plain-text before hashing? You end up storing fewer vari

What honest person interprets "response" as anything but "attack"? Seriously? I didn't mean to imply that there'd be a body count attached to the "response" BTW. That's (hopefully) far-fetched. B
