This ticket is (justifiably IMO) marked as invalid. It's not a bug, misfeature or anything. It looks like a misunderstanding honestly. If you approach it with a "Play first" mindset and ignore that any of the Play build-cycle

I must be misunderstanding the question. Aggregation of non-PLAY sbt projects has worked from day one of Play 2.0 AFAIK. (That's when I started using both, and we've had sbt projects as bit submodules compiled as dependencies from

As a former motorcycle rider: That doesn't work in the US (or at least not in Dallas, TX). For one, drivers are pretty hostile to bike or motorcycle riders. For another, look around on your commute. How many 2m tall vehicles are blocki

I don't really see what that has to do with the parent comment's apparently reasonable concerns for safety. So FEMA doesn't have authority and should go through the proper channels. I don't think anyone would dispute tha

Is Volvo? My wife has an XC90. She previously had an S40. I've had two C70's (both generations) and an S80. So you might get the impression I generally like Volvo and would be happy to hear this. ;-) It was my impression they were

It's in the ball-park though. Your assessment seems pretty fair. I've seen some call the Tesla's weight "insane" though. My old (still current gen) Volvo S80 T6 weighed 4,400lbs IIRC. I assume that's "dry&

The 20+ gallon tank in my old Jeep Grand Cherokee would add over 300lb to the "wet weight". It also took (IIRC) an insane 7L of oil. So that stuff adds up.

You'll level up much faster with an IDE (IMO). Ensime in Sublime is kinda pointless I think since it only updates on file change. The REPL and SBT integration is nice. I use Sublime for quick examples in Scala, or as a VIM alternative

I like the Fiat 500 a lot. That said, I think a 2-person vehicle is another category. My Dad drives a new-ish Ford Fiesta. It's a great little car. Especially for the price. It's not nearly as well equipped, nice or fast though. T

I bought a Leaf because it's much cheaper than the Jeep Grand Cherokee I had before (MSRP), and I spend a small fraction of the $200/month I was spending on gas to charge it up. I thought it was ugly as well before, but it grows o

I don't ever do that. But mine's a lease, so I don't really care about the battery. I charge to 100% daily, and wasn't even aware of any "cool down" recommendation. Not that it'd matter with 95F evenings a

It's the driver. The Leaf is a lot snappier than previous hatchbacks I've owned (a miserable Chevy Aveo, and a pretty decent Pontiac Vibe (aka Toyota Matrix)). I'd peg it about the same as my wife's old Volvo S40 T5. The

I've had a Leaf since (I think?) April in Dallas, TX. So there's been very little time I _haven't_ run the car with the A/C on. I could be proven wrong, but it doesn't feel anywhere near that bad. Also, it has to wo

Dallas. ~2400sqft maybe? I forget. It's pretty easy to lock in ~9c rates here. I think I actually pay 9.6c per kwh because I chose the "100% Windpower" option. I expect the car will probably kick that up <$10.

Yes and No? I mean, my bill only goes up $20 in the summer to cool the house, and that's in a 35 year old home in Dallas. That's over 90 straight days of 110F temperatures last year. It's a new, pretty efficient HVAC unit though. Thankfully

No experience with it. It's the only real cloud option I've seen while I was investigating. It promises everything you'd want though. As long as you can get someone else to manage it, and it's on top of some fast SSDs, it looks like a good
