Many people have also never experienced a world where ads do not exist. I use so many layers of adblocking that whenever I use a vanilla VM or devices, I'm stunned at how shockingly bad the internet experience is for most people.

I'm glad the judge made the right call here. I think it was patently obvious that spending that kind of money to acquire default search engine status so broadly was an effort to corner the ad market, which is their primary business.
