I would be surprised if injecting foreign material that stays almost permanently and is released slowly to the rest of the system does not influence the system in some way. Is it cancer, I don't know close enough to say, but I would be

If this article was correct, then what you said is not true. Seems like NASA went with a bad plan from the start to refurbish the old tech and made a costly, inefficient and risky tech-franken-zilla.

Clicked through some links in the article. Really mind boggling material. How did such garbage end up in top universities is really weird.

Even if it replicates the same capability for example Vercel has for lambdas/server functions I would still use it because I could remove one vendor for my apps and stay with Cloudflare for everything. I've noticed the same sentim

I'm genuinely curious how this YC is funded? This is targeting developers who are already using tried and tested solutions for this kind of problems, which are all open sourced or, if not, well established. There are dozens of choices

I understand what you said. I did not expect full node runtime workers with all the other benefits that you listed that current workers have (global distribution, no cold starts, cost..). But it would be great to have a choice. I feel it wo

Can we just get full node runtime? Cloudflare is amazing, but without a full node runtime, we (and most of the usual apps) can't switch from things like Vercel/Netlify to Cloudflare.

250$ for up to 2500MAU is a lot of money in my opinion for this kind of service. If I compare it to marketing mail automation services which can kind of cover some of this use cases from a different and traditional angle, they are much much
