It might still be coming. I hope. I work at Google but have no internal knowledge of whether USB-C version is being considered for production or not. I personally really need one, since that Pixelbook on the product page is actually stand

I think the key word is 'concurrently'. My guess is that micro and small instances indeed share CPUs, just never 'at the same time' and L1 is flushed before transition from one VM to another. I work for Google Cloud, but

Third line ':=' is not required, you can reuse globally scoped 'err' with '=' as well; unless you want to preserve the current value of global 'err' for future use (which would be confusing).

Unfortunately that is not possible at this moment. Without going into details: Flex is running on the same cloud infrastructure as Memorystore that it why it is possible to establish networking between them. This is not true for the regular

«judge's direct no-reporting order» I can’t seem to be able to find a source that confirms that order actually existed. Do you happen to have a credible one so I can verify it isn’t fake news?

I agree. On the other hand you have artists being paid in company stock which they decide not to sell[1]. Hindsight is 20/20. [1] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Choe

> how are they currently handing cross region replication and failover? We do not, unfortunately. Redis service is regional and only failover from one zone to another within a region is provided. -- I am an engineer on Memorystore Redis

It is intended to be accessed by resources running in the same Google Cloud zone/region, so the network latency is minimal.

For this use case it seems the export feature that allows you to take a snapshot of the database at any given time might fit the needs. We will definitely consider this feature for the general availability release.

May I ask what is the planned use case for the RDB/AOF replication? Are you expecting to have access to the snapshots while the instance is running, or you just need them for import/export or durability reasons? Disclaimer: I am a

"Redis persistence" to AOF or RDB is not currently available (since we are not even in Beta yet), but standard tier instances persist your data in another zone in case something goes wrong with the master instance.

It's not data persistence per se, it's just replication to another instance in a different zone. Persistence is not currently available but plans are in place. Disclaimer: I am an engineer at Google on the managed Redis team. UPD:
