On the whole, Elon fanboys and people who deride "maInStrim" narratives are sophomoric twats who don't understand how anything actually operates or why.

"Columbus bad" isn't really a "thesis", it's a fact. But yeah, it's against the evidence to think native american societies could have posed any meaningful defense or offense against old world countries. H

Since when are intro to programming courses using FOTM languages? At "max", some use Python, but aren't most still C++ or Java?

Nice man, will check it out. I feel like his podcast is a particularly good use-case over others because it is dense with info and he speaks in a fairly structured and formal manner much of the time

I have helped defend claims brought by coal miners against their employers, and, while I obviously am restrained from giving specifics, a number of the miners were not without skills that would permit them to work in mines, yet they persist

My understanding of the other poster's comment was that the triumph of school administrators over tenured professors was for some time a conservative goal and ostensibly a conservative win--but it looks like it has backfired.

Baselessly claiming that it's pushing an agenda for that reason might not be (I think it's an acceptable comment, even though wrong). But I really doubt any poster was getting banned for that. A lot of us on here shoot stuff from

Advertisers are pausing or pulling out altogether. I don't think that necessarily means "deathbed" either, but it's clearly a threatening trend.

This comment is hardly more sophisticated than the comments of Trump supporters about CNN and other "mAinSTReam MedIa" outlets (at least you allege they cherry pick data).

Yeah, I became a (mostly) self-taught dev at 23. I worked for a startup for free for a year, then did a small project for one, which then hired me.
