Every name that signed that document ought to be criminally charged, though like other commenters, I find it unlikely. TANJ.

Agreed; human resources are the same as natural resources: fodder for exploitation.

I suspect you're right, and I already don't want this technology to exist, or its creation to be pursued. A brain-computer interface will, IMO, most likely be used to control brains, not computers.

Thanks; I definitely don’t and can’t claim to understand the “front end” at this point. Your comment was enlightening.

I take your statement to be a bit tongue-in-cheek, but if you're unfamiliar with Strauss-Howe generational theory[0], you'd think there would be another "good generation" right around the corner. [0] https://e

The consequences of people’s votes don’t matter when political affiliation is handed down within families similarly to religious affiliation. The number of people that say “I vote for X because my family votes for X; we’re X people” is simp

The US government has gotten around its prohibition on “cruel and unusual punishment” in two ways. First, it outsourced the cruelty to private businesses, who are not prohibited in the same way. Second, in instances where it cannot be outso

As someone searching for employment in the Midwest, I feel your pain. I saw a position yesterday that wanted 15+ years of experience and paid, I kid you not, $17/hr. Compensation in the Midwest is a joke. If my family weren’t here, I’d
