Erewhon is a grocery store in LA and makes its own sauces. You return the bottles back to the store and they reuse them. Reminds me of my childhood when a milkman delivered milk to your home in bottles and you washed and left the old bottle

Yeah, I built a library to run tasks based on a directed a-cyclical graph (DAG) and each task can optionally belong to a queue. So I had to write a simple queue, but since I wanted demos to work in the browser it has a IndexedDB backend, an

Every time I see a CEO say this, I think it’s time to reach out and poach their engineers. All I have to do is show them the CEO’s quote to demonstrate what they think of their engineers. How can they see a future at that employer?

The idea being to expose uuid instead of the natural index. It’s been downgraded as people use uuids more. That said, security through obscurity is an effective layer, particularly for slowing an attack. Slowing lateral movement is valuable

It is a good choice and in that case TypeBox is a decent way to generate it. And you can use AVJ or its own schema validation system (which is much faster, but only sync where avj has asynchronous validation options in case you want to chec

Hopefully someone can compare Zod4 to TypeBox. Last I looked, the nice thing about TypeBox was that is _was_ JsonSchema just typed which was nice for interoperability.

There is a security principle to not expose real identifiers to the outside world. It makes a crack in your system easier to open.

A performance improvement at a huge cost, sure. People with no data seem to think that these things matter to the end user. The only time uptime and performance matter is at point of purchase.

Employees at Signal must be getting bribes as well, or even threats of violence since they can get nation state Secret communications these days. Got to make it so employees can’t do anything nefarious. This helps protect them.
