I really like Infuse Player on my AppleTV. It "just" reads from a network share that has a bunch of folders with movies and tv shows and just handles the rest. Occasionally I will have a codec issue but I just transcode for free u

Car companies need to either sell feature complete auto-pilot model trims with LIDAR and sell a trim not equipped with auto-pilot at all. They should not sell middle-ground, budget trims with less-effective auto-pilot that compromise safety

Check out teklager, I suspect they have the best option for you but my research on this was done about 2 years ago so you might want to have a look around. There's cheaper options that come from China but I am paranoid about back doors

The author sort of goes against his own advice but not diving into the specifics of why he doesn't like certain things. I get that such a piece would be longer, take more time and effort, and would draw more argumentation but that&#x27

In my opinion that is the insidiousness of it. It pits the patrons against the workers where owners and managers can just throw their hands up and blame it on tax law. We really just should pay people better and prices should be upfront.

I've read previously on HN that there's one company with a stranglehold on the e-ink patent and so the prices are artificially high for the screens. This probably would make a e-ink laptop or tablet more expensive than it should b

The ad industry has known about their fraud problem for years, at least since 2015--and they did little to nothing about it. I don't have much sympathy for them.
