In France, this event is well known and taught in class (at least it was in the 80's). As I remember it now, this was taught as a bittersweet moment in our history. We united, we were brave and fought a stronger army but still we were

I would recommend that you listen his recent podcast with Joe Rogan. He's such a great person altogether. Regarding business, I would not say he's only a technical guy. In the podcast he explains how he came to give his first Ferr

John Carmack is a genius in at least 3 different things and probably more: business, tech and expression (written or oral). He can explain very complicated things in such a graceful way. I personally consider anything he does to be newswort

That’s what I have. Great laptop. Only recently it started to freeze for a few seconds a couple of times per week though.

Sounds like you may not be from Europe. In Europe nothing is perfect but man, reading how the system works in the US is very depressing compared to how it works here.

Yes it’s great to start at the gym and get used to that environment. But yes form is very important and you should not progress in weight if all your reps are not 100% ok. This is NOT emphasized in the program but it should be. It’s easy es

In the old days, Google would have bought an existing player and scale it. Now seeing Google bootstrap this kind of mainstream business seems awkward. Also I personably am very doubtful of any new app/service that Google releases.

Very often on TV when I see office spaces in the US, I see rarely natural lights. They often seem to be underground or inside some refurbished industrial buildings. Here in France we all have well lit offices with natural lights and windows

It’s mind blowing that we can see photos almost 200 years old. Had the technology been invented a little earlier and we could have had pictures of Napoleon or even of the French Revolution.

I had a mild panic attack during a LSD trip and my dog curled on my side and basically « sucked » my anxiety and made me feel relaxed. On another day, my wife remembered a sad event in her life and began to cry silently. Our dog woke up and

I did fast for 5 days once. Also did 2 and 3 days. The most surprising thing is that you get back the sense of smell. It’s very curious but fasting improves your smell a lot and I am not the only one to observe this phenomenon. Maybe it’s a
