VERY cool work and results :) I'm always curious on these... microbenchmarks can skew things because of CODE cache localilty? E.g. startup time, ability to inline, etc.... any thoughts on how to do a more "real world" test?

I think that's exactly right. it ends up being a LOT of super specific, fragile code --- so kind of interersting thought to see if you can make them elegant/easy/emergent in the library/framework itself.

It's a dumb example, animated lists transition are kind of a good go to... https://svelte.dev/tutorial/animate as is https://dev.to/buhrmi/svelte-component-transitions-5ie

One minor thing I might consider is more examples with animation in UI --- it's a place where most apps want to go but have trouble doing elegantly/performantly.

Interesting - it seems more verbose but fairly expressive. Two thoughts: (1) a (more) declarative model would interesting vs. all the callbacks, and (2) where's your to-do app, lol -- all the frameworks have one? :P

It's an interesting thesis but feels a little cult-ish in mindset. The Neo-isomorphism prediction seems most interesting in terms of the benefits. Because honestly - I think we are MORE likely to see a shift towards containerization

Very cool work! And great performance. Funny - during quarantine I've been playing with the OPPOSITE. A no build, runtime only reactive JS engine... Would love to compare notes - you can check out (very much WIP progress) at https:&

Really nice work. One thing you might consider is making sure that tabs and modals work well/there is a model for them. Picnic.css does this well.

Quite cool! Nice work :) Why an app vs. full hosted given it's Electron?

Lots of debate on the topic (clearly :)) But arguably very little progress (none?) in technology, automation, and industrialization has been through dogmatic replication of biological systems. Planes don't fly like birds...

Raises the question (again) eloquently: is art about what is expresses or what it evokes? (Nice work!)

Tend to agree. And if you rotated the "other side" pages 180 degrees (8,7,6,5) it would work even if stapled or bound -- just flip the whole thing and keep reading.

Really fun :) I'd love to see what this looked like for other venue types? Say a restaurant or the like?

The NN is used for the probability model for the compression - it's not the compression itself. In simplest terms, think of it as being used to predict the next bit.
