Oh well, without all those projects IIT is not just IIT. There is no lack of projects at IITs. It is the passion and research attitude that is lacking. Most (not all) students involve and finish those projects, essentially to get their CVs

While that is a smart hack, user should be informed of what is going on. I don't think that is a good design decision. Danger of disconnection in bandwidth limited networks!

Well I had taken db-class as a supplement to actual course at my College. It was just the professor speaking into the camera. While the courses like CS50, were so exciting. I guess it's a personal problem then!

While there is the same origin policy, there is mechanism to share some resources as Matthew pointed out. Even if you host a site on domain ex1, you can still access resource at google maps through API.

I would just point the script tag to the raw file address on github (eg. https://raw.github.com/sravfeyn/SparkDC/master/.download.py ), than using github pages!

Github already hosts lot of code and allows free downloads. By hosting a static site, we essentially are hosting an HTML file which can be downloaded. Unless the site is of very High traffic, it is already sustainable for Github.Consider fo

If you train the predictor with URLs that user has browsed(from browser history) even if they are not originated from HN, would improve the predicting model. Because, user's browser history would reflect his interests.
