Cool advice. What would you improve in the post? Edit: I actually changed the blog post title to "Can you develop a great advertising app?" which sounds a lot better. Thanks for that :)

Will try this. My initial thinking was to try to shorten it since people are busy and don't have time to read everything. Get to the point.

You are correct, right now it's about developers. I've purchased a Reddit promoted post targeted to /programmers/ that should go live tomorrow. It points to a blog post about the benefits. Really curios about the results.

The Century of Self is Adam's best work. Next to it I loved The Trap and Pandora's Box a lot. Pandora's Box: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8639026381197734332# The Trap starts here: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=40422

I had no idea there was an interesteon HN for what I am doing. Even though HN is my favorite place to hang out. The previous mockup post showed people could find this cool. This is the Hacker Friendliest solution that's out there, made with

Does anyone have more details about Amazon's policy of not talking directly about competitors? It seems to be an interesting approach, but I don't think this is the whole picture. I am thinking of two situations where I am wondering how tha

I heard a story from a friend that had to choose between Flash and Silverlight for an on-demand movie project. (DRM was mandatory, so H.264 was out). Adobe asked for $30.000 for some sort of an Adobe Server. And this included literally no s

Hmm, HP sounds interesting. I've had some meh experience with IBM servers. Never had the opportunity to manage HP though. It's the first time I've heard of Softlayer. Will definitely look at them very closely. Thanks.

Thank you for answering. Personal experience was exactly what I was looking for. The price is indeed very attractive. I am thinking of buying my own server (make an initial investment) and then pay only rent for space in a rack.
