   I love E. In a way, with the split screen editing, it's even better than Textmate. For windows users, E is one of the best editors out there. Releasing E's source is an awesome move!

   the speech engine I'm using is espeak.sourceforge.net. There are other voices that I can choose from but I haven't messed around with it too much. Quality-wise, compared to Oddcast.com's TTS, espeak is a free alternative so it's understan

   this is a first iteration, or rather a proof of concept. I use it as a learning project to get more efficient with Apple (I'm a PC guy), so what's more fun and challenging than making Obama talk, south-park style?

   neat idea. I'll take a look into twitter and probably there's a way to to integrate it. SMS can be a bit costly so I'm not sure if I can afford to send out SMS, unless there's a free-bie way to do so. Suggestion?
