You continue to ignore the very glaring issue with trying to address these issues by de-anonymizing speech - that is, any such system will be easily circumvented. Furthermore, the idea that we can't address this in any other way is wro

Yes. What I'm saying is that people can choose to leave online spaces that are abusive, as opposed to abuse at school or home, which are much harder (usually impossible) for children to escape.

My own theory is that kids are rightfully anxious and depressed as they can now easily see the state of the world and the direction it's going. This is the world they have to enter soon, and they can do almost nothing to change it, so

Ah yes brilliant. Let's keep trying to solve these issues that we've been trying to solve for centuries. That's clearly going well. Instead, let's put a bandaid on it so we don't have to look at the issue for a litt

One of the good things about the Internet is that you can leave such sites and find people who don't do that. Most kids don't really have such a choice when it comes to school or their family.

I used to laugh about the idea of kid's voting rights. As I get older, I'm not so sure it's a bad idea. They're the ones who have to grow up in the world we're shaping. Maybe they should have a voice in how it'

I'm really sick of this silly comparison. Stores don't require you to present an ID to enter them. They don't record that ID, add it to a pile of other data they've collected about you, and sell that information. In shor
