For real-numbered measurements, dangerous. For integer measurements that are about seeing the counting re-arrangements, safer.

If the OP answers it is anecdotal of course, but I'll point out that there's a whole field of bio-economics that tries to find survey/public answers to these questions for the purpose of making policies. And the result is la

Yep. Though it's still counted as a "calorie" that's stored in your body as a certain number of grams of protein. If your body later decides to lose that muscle, then the calorie is spent. Since fat and protein each ha

Actually, respiration is burning the food, it's literally the same energy release, and the methods of calculation take into account the portion of the food that's burnable but non-digestable. If you're saying that the corr

I'm not sure what your problem with this method is, given that the amount of heat given by burning is the definition of a food calorie. That's like saying "once I learned that voltage was measured by the deflection of a coi

My children were the right age about 5 years ago, and everything on your list (and by another comment, Fraggle Rock) held up well for them, and also the watching parents. Sure Mister Ben was a little clunky, but in a fairly timeless way.

Well (as another Federal coder), one problem is the unfunded mandate issue. If this comes with resources to maintain public repos and updates, sure. Otherwise, if someone emails me I share the latest snapshot but only as my time and dutie

Surprised this is new/current; in drivers ed in the 80s, our instructor told us "they're collisions, not accidents." Thought this was a common thing for driving instructors to say.

My advisor put it like this: Any person with a doctorate should be able to, on their own, begin a department in the undergraduate basics of their subject if hired by a university that doesn't have one.
