Why not ask claude (or a cheaper model) to actually use this and report any unexpected outcomes? I mean, at least a few times, but better would be to do it a lot and have automated result tracking.

That's almost every country these days. At least in the EU. Amazon doesn't carry nearly the selection you'd want, and certainly not in the non-fiction department.

This means the council has systematically overridden the will of both EU parliaments and states' objections in pushing this legislation. TLDR: there are, roughly and not 100% accurately speaking, 4 ways to make legislation at the EU

I dislike most of the usual physical “coincidence” examples, because many of them are really the result of human choices: historical conventions, unit definitions, or the order in which things happened to be discovered. They can be explaine

Lol @ the use of "bête noire", which is of course a way to avoid the old racist saying of you made a hugely and catastrophic mistake ... saying you were black-faced. But surely in French, it's fine, right?

There are several highly problematic areas, but they are local (very, very big, but local, not remotely close to covering the whole of human civilization).

The middle ages were in the middle of something called "the little ice age" which was entirely different and, obviously, mostly had the opposite effect. The most dramatic story about that is what happened to the settling of Greenl

Wasn't one of the big promises the AI labs made "uncopyrighting"? Ie. the ability to reconstruct large works, including source code, without actual access to the source code? Everything from movies to operating systems.

I am casual because last year we have 2s movies being generated. These days I don't even look for it (in fact I try to avoid it) and I see ads of 20+ seconds that are obviously AI generated at least every week. Not some huge company do

The trivial fix is to put the US government for an impossible choice: "uncopyright" all Disney movies by taking the stories and make better versions of each and every one of their movies with AI. NOT to do it once, but to create a

I'm just amazed how high it is. Living in Europe, and reading "43% in the U.S. say they display the American flag outside their home" ... wtf. Is there any European country that has 1% do that?

Quite the opposite. The doctors are disagreeing with the LLM, and when the patient doesn't accept, they're putting in a minimal lie in the deontologically accepted way. This seems to be to be near the opposite of what a sycophant
