People discuss with each other. Someone from social sciences could probably back me up but out of my ass it'd prob. be enough to each 1/4 of people (likely less) and it'd eventually spread to everyone through word-of-mouth.

Compared to democrats calling anything negative towards them "Russian disinformation"? I'd say it's two stupid monkeys throwing poo at each other. Stop demonizing.

That kind of thinking will definitely not help you be able to put the whole puzzle together.

Only if you look at it in a vacuum. Given that most of Silicon Valley (esp. Twitter moderators) supported democrats, bringing in Musk mostly balances the equation rather tilting it from neutral to the right. I also find it interesting that

I still don't see the bias? In this case it's clearly that the left has had far more saying in what's allowed on social media than the right, so if you have any integrity you'd stand on the side of the right to create so

Couldn't the government (or state) simply run ad campaigns for a couple of weeks informing the public of new changes? Edit: Most changes are not rocket science, you simply need to be aware of them.

Would've interesting to see how long the actions took to perform for the first time vs for the 10th time (it's not apparent to me what they were actually measuring in the test). Also, after having just read the title my immediate

Yeah agreed, as I mentioned elsewhere I don't see why phone number should be required. It's a good default (esp. for non-technical users) to use phone number and contacts (= "social network"), but I really don't see

I didn't know Signal had a web app. Yes, I'm aware the desktop app is made with Electron. So what? I keep it running almost all the time and I've never had any performance issues with it.

The Signal desktop app doesn't require your phone to be turned on (once it's been "paired") by the way, as opposed to for example Whatsapp.

Well the electricity prices (according to the article) rose 55% in Germany and 83% in Finland, while the server prices are just going up by 10%, so electricity is just a part of it.

Oh, that's interesting. I wonder how they get past regulation in countries like Germany as you said. I'd assume they'd have to be registered as an official operator there? PS. I wasn't aware of SS7, reading up on it now.
