Hijacking this thread to say that blog post isn't about Microsoft as a whole, but only about Microsoft's Developer Division (Visual Studio, etc.). The rest of Microsoft still uses the standard whiteboard/Leetcodey approach.

Pipenv is designed solely for packaging applications, per the maintainers' admission. It's not suited for libraries and is not designed to be. If you want to replace pip, you should have a look at Poetry.

How's high DPI support on Ubuntu nowadays? My last experience (2 years ago?), everything was super small and when I tried changing the scaling it wasn't pixel-perfect. Literally had to return the laptop and get the 1366x768 versio

Yeah, poor choice of word on my part, but I feel you. This happens to me a lot with their stuff: the solution is trivial yet not obvious and it's not documented properly so you end losing a lot of time.
