They ought to just tell him he's working on a plane (but really it's maybe just an old washing machine) he won't know

Devs' primary focus ought to be on building the perfect harness for open source, locally run LLms. Build it now and secure your own freedom and security for the future.

No code review here. I tried to make it a regular part of my work flow but, it didn't last. That being said, I'm a retired developer and everything I build are personal projects so the stakes are lower than for working developers.

Haven't tried their API but I can tell you that their local model DeepSeek-V4-Flash-UD-IQ2_M is one of the best local models I've benchmarked. Despite being Q2 (!) it is still very very good and runs well on GB10 with 128GB VRAM

Just drop windows support. Windows is the Blockbuster Video of 90's era home computing. There's no good reason to support it in 2026. Just let it die

I'm on the max plan as well but only until the harness I'm developing (with Claude's amazing help) can run my local models well enough to take over for Claude and then I'm going to cancel max and use cheap API's onl

Surely no? So you are sure that sub-atomic particles are not conscious but math could be conscious. Interesting

It's not, that's the point. It's all just math. You should watch the video.

This video is about how Kimi K3 works but the mechanics discussed are the same across all LLMs. It is 100% all about MATH, pure and simple. Well... not simple, but pure math. No brain in there.

Windows is the most persistent virus in the history of computer software. How it hasn't been eradicated yet is a genuine mystery.

I'm kinda bored waiting for a coding agent to signal completion on a long run. A little hungry (it's almost lunch time). In good spirits.
