Uhh isn't the main strength of md that it's human-friendly to write? Same for yaml. In both cases, dramatically worse for processing, strictly weaker for semantics and rich formatting... And also doesn't make you want to kill

Not really? APTs would seem to be either criminal enterprises or state-sponsored because SOMEBODY has to be paying the big bucks. So yes, probably 100% of criminal enterprises are paying off officials, but if that's the definition of &

I would think that if AI is so smart, it would realize that zero-sum games are for suckers. Only an AI as _dumb_ as us would want something as stupid as domination, which after all is based on competition for resources that a long time ago

We're so far from that though. Even if we magically jump over the failure rates we're discussing here, the safety considerations seem to be far worse. These things are heavy and dangerous, c.f. Rodney Brooks' "never foll

JavaFX is better than swing, having done both (swing in a past life). CSS support is the big deal, plus modern rendering pipelines. Add that to the nice FP goodies and for-real cross-plaf packaging, (plus LLMs to get you through the crufty
