If it is touching the glass it amplifies it, if anything. (Edit: I should say it amplifies some frequencies while attenuating others)

If you put a dualsense controller atop of glass and send sound through it to the back-left or back-right channels (controls the haptics) you definitely hear it, so I presume yes.

Only going to get worse, I fear. Have seen how other communities are slowly replaced by bots, driving real humans out as we get more and more suspicious.

If anything these tricks enable people to build stuff without JS. I'm still here waiting for someone at W3C to get their stuff together and provide a spec for something that could enable an accessible hamburger menu with plain HTML + C

I've heard enough of this anti-american talk, and it sure smells like propaganda. The huge majority of europeans have nothing against the american people. Please, do not propagate these claims.

We all know employees generate more revenue than what they're paid. Otherwise you wouldn't have a successful business. Comparing wages with GDP in this context doesn't prove anything.

This often doesn't scale well. And coming up with all the necessary context in writing is a bit harder than when programming.

I love how in this context people call it wasted effort while in other areas is just competition.

Well, with packages you want various filtering steps to happen before they make it into users' systems. Or layers of security that make it harder for a system to be compromised. Let's take a look at the xz incident, then at how fa

The publishers are the problem. Your solution asks the publisher to extort less money. Aka not happening.

As someone doing a literature review I can safely concur with this. Fancy titles often do not include the most obvious terms of what you are searching for, leading to fewer results from your query.

For anyone interested, the most powerful one is in Romania at the Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI) in Măgurele. It's about 10 petawatts.

This is by far the biggest culprit OP, look into this. You can try to come up with imposters representing these far away dragons, or simple LoD levels. Some games do use particles to represent far away and repeated "meshes" (Ghost

Be pragmatic, use the binaries provided by nvidia and not the ones provided by Ubuntu. Or use Suse, only distro that manages that well. Forget PopOS. Really, either binaries or Suse. If someone else here is entrenched on Arch, do this: htt

If you got yourself into self hosting, you might as well go fully independent. You have already taken care of the most complicated part anyways.
