I'm split on it myself. I like being able to go Right Click -> View Source and poke around but with more modern sites, you're given nothing but a single JS file. You can scroll through the DOM in developer tools but it's n

This isn't a defense but the TF2 team is only about like 7 dedicated people last I heard? There's artists and what not shared between teams who I'm not including in that tally though. Valve News Network talked about it once.

This is essentially it. Once you've been there, done that, you're just left with reinventions of the wheel and rubbish "App of the Month" clones. (I'm generalizing of course)

anecdotal experience with my parents is that they're not really sure what apps they would want, if any. Hell, neither do I. I essentially have every app I "need". A browser, a music player, a podcast player, some IM clients,

Sweet! I've been wanting to make something similar for my local transit line (they have a public JSON API) but I've been wondering how best to structure it.

I'm building a wiki for a little known South Korean mobile game I enjoy and it's fun both learning how to manage and build a Mediawiki install. It's also a great excuse to suck up all the lore and properly analyse character c

I think it depends on the walled garden itself but in a case like iTunes, said garden has been withering without being watered for quite some time. It still works but it can be clunky at times and hasn't received a substantial update f

It's just a real weird site. It doesn't really teach you anything in depth, opting instead to just spit out a bunch of examples. As someone who used it initially years back starting out, I would have appreciated if it actually gav

Considering Floyd Mayweather just announced he's going to make a "shitload of money" thanks to an upcoming ICO in August, I think we're definitely at, or very near, peak hype for crypto.
