Yes you're right. 49mb is slightly large for REPL. but I've been working successfully with 200k lines CSV of over 15mb without issue

Yep that's true. The main idea behind repl is to empower our bizdev to manipulate simple JSON data when Excel is not enough or whenever an API is required. For now it's really at prototype stage of course and we still have to figu

Ouah jq is pretty cool. REPL is more targeted to the occasional coder, or the advanced developer looking to quickly manipulate some JSON

Yep. We are trying to push our bizdev to use it as well. It's still slightly complicated... but they're starting to get it! :)

spyder, I digged it quite a lot and felt like the API you get access to using JS are quite high level and does not give you that much leeway to build fundamentally new experiences...

Do you have access to cookies, localStorage from JS?

I'm glad things are moving in the right direction. Yet there are a few things missing in the current BrowserApi to really enable new browsing experiences IMO, such as network delegates, acces to cookies and local storage. Still real

You should check node-webkit, similar but slightly different and definitely more specific to what you'd like to do I think!

Agreed. This is one tragedy of software in general (not only opensource)

Indeed. Main difference is the API we expose to JS. XUL use is really UI oriented. Here we want to control the entire browser through JS.

Indeed node-webkit is focused on exactly that while the ExoBrowser focuses on providing a scriptable platform to build and hack your own browser.

Hi talles, Agreed with your points, you can find extensions that serve 90% of what could be stacked navigation in Chrome + you have extensions which lets you synchronize your sessions in chrome. The main thing that motivates me, is the abil

Well, it's not powered all the time, your computer probably go to sleep while you're not in the room for a period of time, but the state of the computer is kept in memory. So it definitely feels like it never stopped. Having that
