What? Please explain how a minor can become a registered sex offender. I'm not American, sometimes America just confuses us foreigners.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_lD7iqG8nA About 2 minutes in there's an excellent realtime metaballs implementation that ran smoothly on a 486-66mhz. Metaballs were an extremely popular effect in the early 90's.

I really enjoyed Clifford Pickovers' Computers, Pattern, Chaos and Beauty. I read it in highschool and experimented with all the strange attractor techniques given in the book to render cool images on my old 486. Great fun, and the mat

> Form a company that explores new markets in legal liabilities. It could bring lawsuits with little risk where the payoff could be billions of dollars. Sort of like a patent troll, but for good? I do like it.

This seems to strongly support Milton Friedman's basic income (along with sane interest rates). BI provides the boost, while sane interest rates reduces the drag. So the question left is how do you communicate this to the public.

That's already happened. Virtually. See the millennium challenge. So what it happens there'll be very clear documentation that they were aware of the vulnerabilities, but ignored them.

Unlikely. But see Ukraine (and isis) for how the drone thing is playing out. Drones are now integrated into the battlefield more and more. But they haven't replaced humans, and they won't until they're multi-purpose and able

There's an embassy/consulate in Ottawa. Also the ambassador travels and you can pick them up when they travel. Check with your local embassy/consulate and ask about their travel schedule. NB: I too would like to see Stripe su

Not that I'm totally agreeing with him. But we saw how the "adults in the room" approach worked in the first dotcom bubble.

I believe it's a "luxury/enthusiast" strategy. I believe the auto market will play out something like the watch market did with the introduction of the quartz watch. Most people just want to tell the time, so they buy a

HN won't let me respond to your comment. When I meant hardcoded I meant hardcoded or rule based system rather than a generalized dialog manager with Knowledgeable lookup. Sounds like you're not there yet.

How are you building out multi-turn/goal based approaches? hardcoding a rule engine, or something clever?

Are there plans to extend this to a multi-turn (goal based) agent? It's nice to have single turn interactions for turning the lights on. But not so nice for Eg: booking a complex flight, or navigating unknown options.

Wealth signalling I presume. The bottle of juice wouldn't let you discard a capri-sun package full of squeeze fruit husks. This lets people know you're wealthy enough to not care about excess.
