They certainly invested a ton in their CES presence around the time when they launched. Their booth was rivaling in size other large, long established electronics giants. Additionally, they bought the naming rights for the famous Chinese Th

So, since this is asking for what boils down to a cheap/disposable android device, what is the cheapest one you can buy readily without resorting to sketchy ebay sellers, etc.? Used/refurb is fine.

Can I run my usual VirtualBox VMs I have running for everything else (non-docker related) alongside Docker for Windows yet? When I tried one of the betas it enabled Hyper-V which prevented me from using any of my other VMs.

That makes way more sense than I would have thought. Thanks. Guess I've been away from C for a while.

Aside from the obvious deficiencies, who the heck writes code like "if ($false === initVector)"? Is this a side effect of people who speak other languages with different grammatical structures? Very odd to read through code writte

A gap in the past is probably not a problem, but a gap between your last job and the job you are applying for is a big red flag. Being unemployed puts you at a disadvantage because it makes you seem less desirable. It's not much of a s

It's almost as if they priced it so every 35-ish year old in the USA would buy one instantly. I know I'm in that camp.

Coming from a US DoD background, TLS client authentication is mandated for nearly everything. Everyone carries keypairs around their neck on their ID card (PIV smartcard with x.509 certificates)

This is effectively a lossy capture though, since the HDMI->IP converter is re-encoding the video to MJPG before transmitting it. Hard to beat for the price, though

Not a fan of the new Windows version as it requires you to enable Hyper-V, which stops any other virtualization (Virtualbox, VMware, etc.) from functioning. The only workaround I've found is rebooting to enable/disable it on deman

That depends on if The DAO's terms are enforceable - it basically says the code is the terms, so essentially if the code allows it, it is permitted. https://daohub.org/explainer.html

Wordpress does attempt some abstraction of the database via its various wrapper classes/functions like wpdb, WP_Query, etc. It's definitely not ORM-level abstraction by any stretch of the imagination, though.

I think clipboard permissions for applications is going to become an issue with features like this. I may be incorrect but I'm pretty sure that clipboard access is unrestricted on both OS X (ugh, macOS) and iOS.

Spotify uses Ogg Vorbis for all its streams, I believe. But I guess that doesn't really count when it's heavily DRM encumbered and delivered by unfree software.

Same result? With something like a Yubikey you can't (excepting any vulnerabilities) extract the private key data even with the admin PIN codes. Based on your PIN caching preferences an attacker may be able to sign/encrypt/de

TLS supports mutual authentication via X.509 certificates, and they can be self-signed on both ends with some "accept" dialogs, similar to SSH's "do you trust this host's key?" prompts.
