I've used Carplay in a few cars. Mine doesn't even have it built-in, I swapped in an aftermarket Pioneer headunit that has Carplay. It's worked fine with various sizes of screen. As far as lag, there's some lag when usin

As far as I understand it, it still uses Bluetooth to establish the connection, but the rest is done over Wifi (someone can feel free to correct me if not).

Interestingly enough to me, all the things you mentioned are "accessories". Not full-fledged products (arguably Ping was right around when social media like MySpace/Facebook really were going full-steam so I think Apple was j

The last time I flew Singapore Airlines (maybe 3 years ago?) for an LAX->NRT flight and back, their system felt smoother than anything else I'd used on a plane before. IIRC it seemed to be built with Android or similar. Thought that

One place I interviewed with last year did something similar in that it was more of a BYOSD (bring your own system design). So it meant I got a chance to think through complex systems I've worked on, mock up a diagram beforehand, and t

Yeah, isn't that normal precipitate? I'd be worried about if there's ash from the burn off that then mixes with water to become lye. Not sure if there's more of a chemical reaction necessary than that. I had a vinyl wrap

YouTube recommendations have always sucked for me. But ever since Shorts was released, I constantly get amazing science channel shorts that are usually bite sized chemistry or physics experiments. I'm really enjoying them. Not sure how

Not sure why you cherry-picked a fragment of my original statement? As with anything, there are variables to consider, and there might not be enough of a measurable difference.
