Insurance companies hold tremendous leverage over care providers, up to and including the power to effectively put them out of business on a whim. Care providers don't like picking fights with insurance companies.

Also many Amish people engage in rules lawyering to access forbidden technology without violating the letter of the rules. And even abiding with the spirit of the rules, they use more technology than outsiders realize.

That's fair. FWIW my city lists the mean commute time as 23.6 minutes, p90 26.6. Travel in my area is dominated by freeway arteries, so 15-ish miles each way is a fair estimate for the mean. https://raleighnc.gov/planni

The magnitude of person-to-person variation makes it tough to get signal out of averages. I read a blogger say a 40-mile trip is exceptionally log for him, so why worry about EV range? Meanwhile we put 160 miles on our EV yesterday doing or

It's just a numbers game. Remember that last year[1] a crypto scammer convinced a bank CEO to embezzle $47mm, leading to the bank failing and two years in prison for the CEO. There's always someone out there who can be tricked, ev

I always loved the idea of the Dotsies glyph system for coffeeshop mode. It's a font that converts the English alphabet into a compact dot notation. Never got around to becoming fluent in it, but I'd like to someday. https:/
