Check out https://github.com/claudiodangelis/qr-filetransfer for computers and phones on the same LAN. Works great, and I'm planning on integrating that functionality into my project which transfers files between

Love this site. Helped me often in my first career as a sysadmin and made me want to write freeware.

Great project! I'm working on one that's somewhat related, it's basically cross-platform AirDrop (though only for laptops). Seems like mine could really benefit from a method of getting files to phones like this, and yours co

If you've ever been frustrated that you couldn't move a file over 2GB from Windows to Mac with a flash drive, or couldn't set up a file share because you didn't have WiFi, or find it stupid that we push files up to Dropb

No apology necessary, I'd love to support Linux but haven't looked into how to configure the ad hoc networking or peer discovery on it yet. I don't think it should be too hard but I likely won't have time to work on it m

Thank you so much for trying it! You're my first tester outside of friends and family, haha. I wanted to use Wi-Fi Direct but Mac doesn't support it so that wasn't an option unfortunately. I have a line about the deprecation
