I don't mean to engage in whataboutism, but by saying you're above 40, you suggest you may have bought into your mortgage at the much more affordable times in the past. Did you purchase in the last few years?

Legal scholars aren't in agreement about everything... but knowing the state of the field deeply does protect them from making more obvious legal mistakes, or whatever he's been doing.

Is this the defense of your choice to support the industry? I'm not sure I understand it, as the same logic was/is used to justify slave labour and systemic racism - "they want to work, the children enjoy helping their parent

I no longer speak with my neighbour, but she introduces herself quickly to everyone that moves into the building. When she speaks like this, I suspect it's part of a manic episode.

The user you're responding to has no understanding of psychoanalysis, Freudian or otherwise. There is a long standing tradition of judging the field from incredulity at Freud's simiplified conclusions, and you never hear the real

While I'd like to agree with your points about the potential downfalls of therapy, and the troublesome implications of these applied at scale to the perverse incentives of a pro-therapy society, I cannot. Your tone is far too adversari

Do you mean to imply that education outcomes are unrelated to technology or that advancing technology may make them worse? Do you think there's a defensible abstraction of your claim? We also did "just fine, if not better" in

I've often wondered if/how education of young men relates to violence against women. I've no experience with the conductors of this activity, at least AFAIK, and I find it hard to believe that it's an issue that could be

I learned these skills more thoroughly in a week of fast food training than in sixteen years of public and private schooling. If these are important context for education, you'd think we would still teach decorum.

Are you sure you're responsible for your doubt of societal drinking standards? There's been a shadow of teetotaling trying to creep into the historic human comfort habit, ever since the failure of prohibitionism. Abstention is jus

Many people who never could afford to call international family now speak and see each other daily. I also disagree that technology has made anyone more self-centered, but disagreeing with Socratic proclamations is as old as society itself.
