Did you purchase your phone from T-Mobile? I'm on T-Mobile but I always buy my Pixels direct from Google. All updates have come direct from Google, no T-Mobile involvement at all.

Microsoft has added basically the same functionality to Power Toys, called Run[0], taking heavy inspiration from Everything. But yeah this should be a built-in utility. [0]: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows

This might be something I'm looking for. I've pretty much stopped logging into reddit since the API changes earlier this year. However, there's a couple specific subreddits I'd like to keep up to date on (my local city,

Has anyone used PlantNet's app[0] and compared accuracy to iNaturalist? Been using the former and it seems to identify successfully, though I can't say I've used to identify more "exotic" fauna. Might give iNaturali

I use DDG's browser too, especially when I need to access site and don't care about cookies or saving history of that site (the private address generating feature is nice too). On my Pixel, I use FF mainly, but also have DDG and C

On Pixel devices, the default launcher is the Pixel launcher, and you can't remove the search bar on the homescreen. But like you said, you can install a different launcher.

The search bar on the home screen referenced by OP is a Pixel launcher exclusive, which is the default installed launcher on Pixel devices. You can't remove it. You can install an third-party launcher however. You can also use a widget

I've seen Inter used so much, that I instantly recognize it whenever it pops up on a website. Definitely a good font, but fear it may be overused.

Even though I feel somewhat familiar with most Internet culture, I've never come across the Bad Apple meme, and I've just spent a good hour down the YouTube rabbit hole watching variations of Bad Apple. Fantastic stuff

I use Ultrasonic as well, but I've found Symfonium to be much more stable, especially wrt Android Auto and Chromecasts. There's several other open source Android apps as well. I've been testing out as many apps as I can find

Another vote for navidrome. Easily self-hostable, and since it uses the Subsonic APIs, there's plenty of client apps to choose from (I personally like Symfonium[0] for Android). If you're already using them, both Plex and Jellyfin

If you're looking for a specific program/app, then this is the way. But what the article is talking about is when sorting by the CPU column (for a high usage app), as everything jumps around quite a bit.

I suggest not using Edge personally, unless you're big into the MS ecosystem. Edge has become a bloated mess, with MS adding all sorts of random crap (bing everywhere, telemetry, a buy-now-pay-later "feature", shopping, click
