   Semi-adjacent: I was given an iPad mini (1st or 2nd gen, not sure) by a former neighbor. Unfortunately it is still locked to their Apple account and I've lost contact with them. Is there anything I can do to unlock it and use it?

   There may be DNS-based solutions. I use NextDNS to block reddit except for 7-10pm using the recreation time settings.

    Seeing this on Android as well. If you zoom in on the 4s, you can barely make out the word DEMO and a tiny icon[0]. My guess is this is a font trail missing a few glyphs to make sure you pay for it. [0]: https://i.imgur.com/

    Assuming these are adobe digital edition (.ascm files), you can remove the DRM with calibre and the DeDRM plugin. You'll need the adobe key from an authorized machine first (a windows VM should work) and then copy the key over to the L

    I've experienced it with "first-party" posts, not replies. A post wouldn't show in my timeline but would on the user's profile. This is the official android app, but there has been an update or two so I'll have
