For all of the things we know are present in food and necessary for nutrition, I suspect there are still a lot we don't know of. Biodynamic farmed food seems like the best bet if you have access to it. At least you're avoiding the

People I know who grew up in Asia remark consistently that the chicken here in the US is larger, softer, and tasteless. They are used to smaller chickens and toothier meat with a stronger taste. It is probably breeding practices here, to pr

I cofounded a start up which was a call canter using software I wrote to manage maintenance at small pad retail sites such as fast food restaurants. We had investors. One showed up, a couple, who were extremely angry due to the repayment of

I think it may be stressful to feel that unless you're in the office being noticed, you have to create a lot of little things to do which are visible on-line. Especially if you are new and don't have a long well-known history of b

It might be feasible to assess a single contribution, but not feasible to assess all of them. To make this KPI work, maintainers would have to publish an objective quality rating for each accepted commit. That's an enormous amount of w

They use “can’t”, meaning “can not”. Unable. That’s misleading, and no doubt intentional, to create more drama. The more accurate word would be “haven’t”, or “haven’t yet”, but that’s not alarming enough.

That risk has always been 90 days maximum loss of rent, by law in some places, so you could understand landlords calculating that happening maybe once every 5 years or so. And they could be careful in selecting tenants, so they had a way to

I think what has separated the policy around Covid, vs. say the flu, is the death rate. If the death rate were closer to the flu, or below some threshold that takes spread into account, the response would have been much different. If a bett
