Hugo is a fully featured SSG written in Go. It's considerably faster than other SSGs and has a very easy installation. http://hugo.spf13.com

I work for MongoDB. There we use go for all of our agents for our various services. Originally they were developed in java and python, but we spent far too much time supporting issues that arose from existing environments run times. A blog

Hugo meets all of your requirements. It averages ~1ms per page created (hundreds of times faster than most alternatives). It also boast the easiest installation of all SSGs. Simply download the executable and run. No package managers or dep

The second half of the article is all about refactoring. Very similar to the refactor functionality provided by Eclipse & IntelliJ.

The Go project provides similar functionality for most common editors (Emacs, Vim). The spf13-vim distribution supports this for Vim.

Wasn't intended to offend. I'll reword that sentence. I do go on to explain why it's a mistake. It's really just that one word that seems to offend.

spf13-vim is completely cross platform and has about even distribution across the different platforms of users. http://vim.spf13.com

spf13-vim is pure vim script. No ruby required. spf13-vim is cross platform and works well on windows. spf13-vim uses a bundle system to make easy maintenance. Git submodules lock you into a specific hash of each plugin and maintenance in

Great idea. That will make a lot of things easier. A lot of people struggle with obtaining the right dependencies as many people don't already have mercurial and bazaar.

This is already the case. The source directory has this structure. /layouts is all the templates, /static is all the css & javascript. Just don't include a content directory and it would work just like a wordpress theme.

I hadn't seen yours before. It looks good as well. I'd agree that Hugo is more opinionated (but not as opinionated as jekyll) and aimed at a broader audience. It would be great to compare approaches to things and see if we can

Great ideas. For the theme plugins, could you expand a bit on what you mean or how this would work?

Dave's and pprof are both similar in that they run the application and poll randomly which routine the execution is currently in. The output of pprof and Dave's (which uses pprof) would look like: 2 13.3% 13.3% 2

It's not at all a replacement. If you've used the built in pprof it's very detailed. All trees if you will. Nitro provides the forest. Using this along with pprof helps narrow down where to focus your attention.

Collection level locking isn't in 2.4. Working on more granular locking for 2.6/2.8. May skip collection level entirely for something more granular. More details can be found in the collection level locking ticket https://jira.mongodb.org/

This is exactly how normal, map reduce and aggregation queries work in a sharded MongoDB cluster. While it's true that on a single node MongoDB map reduce is single threaded, it is parallelized when running on a sharded cluster.

If you have any concerns there are also manual install instructions. SSL is a good idea. I should absolutely switch over to that.

please report this issue in Github. I'd be happy to help.. It sounds like fugitive is being triggered in a directory that isn't being tracked by git... but it would be better to continue the dialogue on Github.

See my comment above. It's similar. Some material differences are that It doesn't require Ruby on the host system to install. This is a huge difference. It only requires git and vim to install. The bundles have some similarities, but again
