Have you tried PHP? :) I jest, but really I feel like we've made things so complicated it just gets in our way. Our Javascript pipeline is huge, complicated, and requires you to sit down and wrap your head around it every time you want

Reminds me of 2005 and trying to figure out jQuery vs. Mootools. jQuery had lots of docs with examples, and I never was able to wrap my head around Mootools.

Just yesterday I was daydreaming of quitting my job and throwing all the frameworks and build systems out the window in favour of starting something new with vanilla PHP. Just edit your code and refresh the page. Aaah, the simplicity! I’ve

Cutting my first dovetails. After years of trying to find time I’ve committed to getting into the shop for at least a few minutes every day. I’m starting with a simple single dovetail box. No lid. Bought some quarter inch thins that are rea

Gosh, it never occurred to me that the reason the UI was so bloated and slow was because it is using electron! Why couldn’t they just write a quick set of native panels and call it a day? Sigh.

That’s rotten. I’m about to sign up for Lightroom on iOS and hopefully I can avoid that by going through Apple’s payment service. I guess that is the good thing about not letting third party payments on the App Store…

I'm happy with it. I'm not sure why I resisted turning on iCloud Photos. It makes cross device management a non-issue. Now I just need to find the time to cull my 20k something photos... The major sticking point remaining is a sha
