I used Marius’ Portainer guides for both Frigate[1] and iSpy Agent DVR (not OSS)[2]. I haven’t been able to get Frigate to see the garden eufy cam yet but iSpy worked right away with the same credentials. I’ll choose my next cameras based o

They were Nvidia failures due to a manufacturing defect. My 15” 2008 Nvidia 8600-equipped MBP was repaired out of warranty (for free) for this issue. All MacBook Pros from late 2007 to 2010 used Nvidia GPUs, not AMD. Search “nvidia 8600 fai

That’s a good point. I’m looking for the same thing. OT: for your old Mac mini with the non-selectable Bluetooth “add” button, maybe try Mouse Keys. https://support.apple.com/en-ca/guide/mac-help/mh27469/

Useful list, thank you! I much prefer surfing without JavaScript. If I need to enable it for something temporarily, that’s fine. I just don’t want to leave it enabled all the time. With Google search’s new landing page for those without Jav

My opinion is, of course, in the minority. I understand that Google will do their best to keep the status quo in the advertising industry.

Fair enough. I don’t use the iPad version of FCP or Resolve, but I’ve paid for both Mac apps and have enjoyed free updates from Apple and Blackmagic for close to 10 years.

2 of the 3 threads you posted are specifically related to pixel art. The first linked thread is by a person who is doing pixel art. “I'm working on pixel art (very small-resolution bitmaps)” The second thread you linked is also by a pe

Apple told us the first iPad supports up to 11 finger multitouch, so people were understandably curious and got creative.

Just like with songwriting, I’m going to keep creating and posting videos, whether or not there is any monetary compensation. People who do things for their own enjoyment will find a way to do it. If it’s on a centralized site like bandcamp

VLC has 5-6 audio visualizers built-in that you can make fullscreen. Not sure about anything else being discussed (Audacious, etc) but im guessing there mist be visualizer plugins for foobar.

For myself, I’ve never had a reason to put it online. If you’re using the TV online, then yes, get updates, but if you never let it have network access then this isn’t a deep concern.

A good alternative to AE, especially for simpler stuff, is Apple Motion. It works in real time, unlike AE. I’ve chosen it over AE for all the animated titles I’ve worked on for the past 8 or so years and have had no issues. Opening AE to up
