Ok, when there is extreme bias for untruthful, factually incorrect, obtuse and imbalance in HN opinions, I resign. I want to be part of a community that is not overrun by falsehood and hypocrisy. I shall resign from HN. It was fun. Btw, I h

People on HN engaging in whatboutism - can you please find a single article from the CCP state media that criticizes the CCP? I could literally go on WSJ/NYT/WaPo right now and find many articles criticizing US government. That&

You should be talking about the credibility of the CCP state media then? I'd rather have WSJ with decades of history of reputation vs. CCP State Media which is by definition owned by the CCP. Infuriating hypocrisy.

Sure, I agree. But can we have this as a separate discussion. Focus of this article is about expelling journalists from China.

Liberal societies around the world are afraid of making strong statements and criticism of the way China handled this outbreak. The CCP is separate from the Chinese people and it has created an aura of defiance, callous behavior and intoler

I prefer boring that works vs. new that doesn't work. What would be cool if the new thing worked really well and it was different/interesting. This design is only the latter, hence the slight disdain. But, I applaud the work tha

Good design is about how a thing works, not what it looks like. This calendar and clock does not work well - I am willing to bet my entire life's savings in a psychology study that determines the reaction time to read the date + time o

Not sure why this is being downvoted. It’s a fact - it’s objectively harder to read. This criticism is valid and although the clock is super cool, it’s bad design. Does that mean we shouldn’t do projects like this? No. Is it important to hi

The cognitive load to be able to read the calendar is quite high. It took me a few seconds to tell what the date/time is. It's very cool, but I am not sure if this is good design.

Does anyone get the feeling after watching the video in the article that SF feels "worn" out? Today, it is embarassing to walk about SF without seeing homeless people, shit and grime, trash everywhere, unkept, unclean and just gen

This is infuriating, I am visibly shaking. Why can't Google act out of the interest of user privacy and stop collecting data in these dire times for once? Charge me $5, but stop collecting data about me. Edit: Sorry about my language.

I disagree with your second conjecture. The polarization of United States has been largely due to bankcrupting its middle class of its industry, paying off executives(not literally, but due to allure of making cheaper goods in China), socia
