I think a lot of people are missing why apple is doing this now. They're doing this because they have a fairly secure eco system. They have also create a proxy that makes it difficult (impossible according to them) to know the client

Just a release of their use of GPL code which the would be required to provide if requested anyways. It does not have any impact on Linux support.

In my opinion, that software is spaghetti code and barely functions when it's actually running. I tried it for a while, but gave up because it constantly lost the stream. I had to go to super low res for 3 cameras with a very low bit

Not really... If you look at the FPS numbers, sure AMD is slightly lower. However AMD can also perform other functions like encoding/decoding. If you want pure FPS, sure Intel will win. For general computing AND gaming, AMD wins eve

I've been using duplicati for some time. It works ok, not perfect. Wish I could send backups to multiple locations especially (eg local/B2)
