The idea being presented is obviously nonsense. I don't mention their mental health as an attempt to discredit their idea; the idea itself is not credible enough to be worth arguing about. It's not the idea that made me question t

Does it seem to anyone else that the person behind these billboards is likely to have mental health issues? I worry that this sort of media attention will have a spectacularly negative effect on them.

Chrome did this when it originally shipped, by rendering each tab in its own Windows desktop (in the same way that the lock screen is a separate desktop). For some reason they removed that functionality, and dialogs are now modal across all

I work in the industry, but have no knowledge of those particular Bosch/VW projects. Yes the Tier-1 supplier is responsible for building the final software image that runs on their ECU, and for some smaller OEMs the Tier-1 will write a

It's common for a larger OEM like VW to write large parts of the application software themselves and send it back to the Tier-1 ECU supplier only as object files. (The industry is competitive, worried about IP protection, and anything

My favourite analogy is that a successful business is like a machine that takes money and then, one hour later, spits out 1.2 times whatever amount you put in. You could start by feeding the machine $1, waiting an hour, then feeding the $1.
