I'm not sure if I agree with the second point. If Bitcoin wasn't using so much energy then energy producers would lower production.

Social media is having a magnifying effect on unhealthy parasocial relationships. People are becoming more and more attached to online personalities rather than having real life relationships. This isn't necessarily a new phenomenon bu

I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with this. It seems like you would have to 'perform' for an even wider range of people in order to get paid what you deserve.

I would buy one that describes the total opposite of me and watch the confusion on people's faces. I so wish this was a thing but I doubt Facebook would allow using their graph for this kind of marketing.

Its a no-brainer for most. Put in a couple years of work, cash out big, go live the dream. Every incentive aligns with this though process so why stop doing it now?

Except for that it uses technology that harms the environment. I don't think this trend is "fun" compared to a normal donation drive when it has these negative side effects.

Seems like even PG is succumbing to the hype of NFTs. I don't understand how this will be any better than just doing a donation drive and it could possibly be worse for the planet.

I think for a lot of people, SQL is a skill that doesn't stick. You learn enough to do the queries you need for your project, they work then you forget about them as you work on the rest of your project. These skills are perishable. Le
