I thought the same until I actually tried working on big projects with other, simpler languages. Threading can be replaced with process forking in those GIL languages, and everyting else is just so much better. 4 years after ditching java I

And use mutation testing to make sure your tests are correct. Oh, and have integration tests too, along with tests for your infrastructure. How can anything go wrong if you have all that? Well, it can and will.

Yes, we run pronto when our Jenkins builds GitHub pull requests, so we get all those comments along with peer code reviews. And no separate web app is necessary.
