People love making excuses for this stock. It’s a meme stock. It makes no sense and it never will.

And yet the stock won’t drop and financial news is reporting it as “deliveries dropped less than feared.” There are no adults left in the world.

Isn’t this the same argument that America should kick out non American students and would be researchers from American universities? Either way it’s protectionist. Basically what Trump supports but in France.

At least it beats being attacked by your government daily for having the audacity to become a scientist. Especially if you publish science that isn’t politically convenient.

When it works for unit tests I love it. Every once in a while it’d just work and save me time. Unfortunately a vast majority of the time I could never let it just write them and not rework them because I’ve never seen an LLM know how to wri

This era of forced AI features is so infuriating. Emotional anxiety ridden greedy investors are running around trying to design all our products for us. There is a great lack of critical thought and actual purposeful design due to all this

So many on here keep saying stuff like this but it seems to just ignore any theory of learning. “Just make it harder”. Sure, any examples of how that’d work? “Quantum physics.” OK then, problem solved. That isn’t really explaining anything

Has there been ANY provable positive economic impact not related to startups and companies accumulating cash from VCs? I see AI (not LLMs) helping a lot in the sciences which I’m excited about, but that’s not even what the focus is for Wall

It gets heavily criticized, I’ve done it plenty, and I don’t get heavily downvoted when I do. There are posts all the time about people being fed up with the industry in its current state. It is odd this one is being targeted.

Good for you. But I’ve seen the psychological damage this current environment is doing to folks and it just excuses it away in some illusory realist stance. So maybe don’t speak for everyone like they’re failing for being human.
