Yeah...I always looked at it like "the comments section". For a while, everyone joked about Youtube saying "never read the comments section, man!" Or you only need to look at the comments section on any large media outl

Yeah, I used to occasionally click twit links when friends shared in chats or they were included in articles. Now I just don't bother because I either see the first of multiple posts in a "thread" or nothing at all. Much li

First thing I thought of as well. Actually used to work with the guy who developed and maintains it. AFAIK they trademarked the name as well.

Not to disagree about the cheesegrater (I've been a DIY PC guy since graduating from my C=128) but I always loved working on those things and spent a bit of time trying to find any standard *ATX case with that sort of build quality - e

I'd imagine that for the vast majority (>99%) of users, it would stay exactly the same. You can download installers (a la any desktop/laptop) or go through a repo/store of your choice on Android and very, very few outside

I still think there ought to be some solution that includes both "apps can't force/trick you into changing defaults" and "owner of device can still choose to change defaults".

Does Tiktok also have "learn to drive manual" videos? Because I've yet to meet a kid under 18 who knows how.

Bad at what? Typically when a compound is considered a "drug" it's - by definition - because it has an effect on the body/mind. Like the old joke says: why do people use drugs? Because they work! If I take an ibuprofe

Seriously, we moved to the middle of nowhere when I was a kid and it sucked. Nobody to play with. Not much to do outside (it was mostly just fields). So of course I found things to get up to that often got me into trouble. Boredom and la

Probably? Because now I listen to a few streaming "radio" stations when I am in the car or doing work around the house. They are "linear" and human-programmed. Some pay for licensing and some likely do not. My current

Yep, had that and a Touch Pro before getting a Pre and then finally (begrudgingly) accepting that there weren't gonna be any more higher-end phones with slide-out keyboards.

Mine got a hairline crack in the chassis next to the charging port, but the magnetic charger didn't have the same issue (obviously). There were plenty of issues with the Pre and immediate followups didn't do enough to solve them.

In a weird coincidence, I just watched a video of her performing "Didn't it Rain?" a few days ago. Had heard of her but hadn't heard her until then.

Yeah, Firefox on my office desktop (10-core i9 with 16GB RAM. Crap GPU though) was unresponsive for a good 30 seconds before I was able to close the tab. Worried for a sec that I'd have to force close the browser.
