They've been going 2 generations with each form factor. 7/8 were identical, X and XS are identical. I do appreciate that, even though I don't update every gen anyway (or even every two).

IFixit has a good article on it. Basically they couldn't get it to pass wireless emissions standards the way they wanted to do it (put your phone anywhere on the pad to charge not, not directly on the circle, etc).

Every single ER will charge every insurance company/plan differently, so that list would be pretty unreliable.

Right this minute? Yes, tech employees are better off in a lot of areas than say Amazon warehouse employees, but there's nothing saying that in 10 years the market won't be saturated and people won't be pressured into working

Not sure about desirable. I'm not a huge fan of the company/person with the most money to donate basically dictating the direction of our country (as it is now).

Wasn't Verizon given billions in subsidies for FTTH (which they installed on the east and west coast, the most profitable areas) and then sold off vast areas they didn't touch to companies like Frontier?

There are for sure features that I disagree with in Win10 like telemetry and automatic reboots while I'm using the computer (which has been resolved), but it's a far stretch to say they're ruining windows. I don't think

It was on a curve. If you were already making over $15, you still got a raise. edit: If you were making under $15, you could still be bumped higher than $15 as well. They raised the base rate and then there are still modifiers on top of tha

You're getting downvotes because this was not a transparent and open report. It was vague and was more advertise-y than postmortem-y. Not saying Amazon is perfect by any means either, but there's a lot of room for improvement. Goo

We're way past the point where you need to guard your laptop with your life because you'll lose everything, as he puts it. Anyone who isn't already backed up to at least 1 cloud service is stuck in the last decade.

That also could be because autopilot is only usable on highways (IIRC) and the fatality rate per accident on highways is much higher than standard town/city driving. Either way there's not nearly enough data to draw conclusions fr

Yep - had a pug when I was younger who had a more pronounced snout. No breathing issues, didn't get super dirty in his folds, etc. His mother on the other hand had a super flat face and had all of the typical pug issues. The tiniest bi

Yes SQL 2016 has native support for JSON, CTEs (this one has been in since 2005), and windowed functions I believe were also in 2005. Some other massive improvements are Columnstore indexes for absolutely ridiculous OLAP data reads and comp
