To be fair, the CBR600RR is a race replica bike, and it's designed for the track (despite having lights and a license plate). The full fairings are there for aerodynamics, the same sort you'll find tested and proven in Moto GP. H

As a long time Kodi user, I'll just say that the combination of Kodi on my PC hooked up to a big screen and the Yatse app on my phone was a total game changer. A WiFi remote control on the device I basically already had in my hands an

You can get MilkDrop 2 on Kodi, which turned out to be a just fine replacement for winamp once you strip all the other nonsense away.

I've always loved this idea, and have found it to be very true in all aspects - always just known it as "tunnel vision".

Fake reviews on Amazon (or internet e-commerce sites at large) is a significant problem. I have had a previous employer use my personal information to manually create and post fake reviews of his own products under my name. Nothing surpris

I feel like there's a point far into the future where they might consider the current technology age as a turning point in our evolution as biological beings. Consider a future 1000 years from now, after we've spent a thousand ye

I definitely need to iterate faster, and you're right, maximizing your opportunity generally boils down to making more attempts than the next guy. Thanks for the support!

Yeah I'm definitely looking for other ways to leverage my 3D skills so that my gamedev/UE4 knowledge doesn't all go to waste. I currently work as a sysadmin for an advertising agency, and while I'm doing a lot of Azure

Scope small and ship often are easily the best advice points to give any aspiring game devs. I certainly made the mistake with Ethereal Legends allowing the scope to get beyond my ability and control, and because of that it took forever to

I did this - kept a day job as a systems administrator while building a video game using Unreal Engine 4 (as a solo dev - no team). It took almost three years to "complete"... and I shipped it on Steam back in Feb. 2017. (it

I recently tinkered around with putting LineageOS onto a Samsung Galaxy S3. It was super easy to do, and is a really clean, fast, and efficient operating system. I personally enjoy it. I had previous experience with Cyanogenmod, and Line

Don't feel bad, this exact same situation happened to me. I wanted to make a change in my life, and build a better future for myself. Everyone I spoke to said that going to college would be a great idea - there was no way the investme

Intent is what matters. Writing code can most definitely be evil when written with evil intentions, or with the expectation of having the code used in malicious ways. It's a very different thing to write code with good intentions, onl

I'm confident there is an extremely large gap between a game developer with an open-source video game on Steam (which does not use Steam's DRM feature or any 3rd party DRM) and a developer who writes a malware rootkit. Like... a H

For real. I am an indie game dev who recently released his first big game on Steam. Just a week or two ago I had a prospective company tell me that, in order to hire me, I would need to sell them the entirety of my personally-developed IP
