I mean, for me personally, I am writing out the English TODO list while I am figuring out exactly what changes I need to make. So, the thinking and writing the prompt take up the same unit of time. And in terms of time saved, if I am just c

We're talking about getting work done here, not some purity dance about how you find your information the "right way" by looking in books in libraries or something. Or wait, do you use the internet? How very impure of you. Yo

I think there is a big problem of expectations. People are told that it is great for software development, so they try to use it on big existing software projects, and it sucks. Usually that's because of context: LLMs are not very good

I see this complaint a lot, and frankly, it just doesn't matter. What matters is speeding up how fast I can find information. Not only will LLMs sometimes answer my obscure questions perfectly themselves, but they also help to point me

I am more than happy to pay for access to LLMs, and models continue to get smaller and cheaper. I would be very surprised if they are not far more widely used in 5 or 10 years time than they are today.

Hi everyone, my body is full of anxiety posting this. But we really did manage to strongly solve the game! And we're the first to do it. And here's the post on how we did it! I really hope there's some people out here who enj

There’s a very big distinction between getting help from a friend, and plagiarising your friend’s work. Dismissing all LLM assistance because of some purity dance you want to enact is silly. Are you also going to dismiss mathematicians who

This is why investors love software: the marginal cost of product is tiny. However, real money must be spent on R&D and marketing to keep those profit margins going, especially if you don't have a technology moat (e.g., AI wrappers

We shall see if this remains true after the firing squad was taken to Google Domains... I really hope Google Sheets doesn't suffer the same fate!

Fighting misinformation can be really difficult, so it’s always good to see people working on the problem! However, while a moderation tool is great, I’m not sure if it would help with more mundane misinformation (e.g., controversial figure

I’m not sure, but I’d assume they’d have a lot of data from everywhere their ads are placed, and purchasing the data would be much more viable for them.

Thanks for the comment! You are right that social graphs are important. Our tool does not support them explicitly, as it is designed for studies that can take place over one session (e.g., minutes to hours), not studies over longer periods.

I agree that building systems that can keep track of large-scale programs seems very difficult, and the current LLMs don’t seem up to the task. However, I wonder whether we can leverage the ability of LLMs to understand short code snippets

Is the business logic difficult to understand? From what you’ve described, counting the days sounds trivial, so I’d imagine it’s not the part people are stuck on. Saying that though, time in general is notoriously difficult to deal with. Ma
