Thank you for the clarification (and especially that link; it's an amazing clear and concise description of the issue).

My understanding is that if journalists don't say that things are alleged then they open themselves up to lawsuits - or at least that's the rationale I've seen presented for things like this in the past. It fits the meaning of the word, too

Seriously. Look at the list of top links (EDIT: by which I mean /best ) - 6 out of 30 are related to this story, and the top two (of three stories with more than 900 votes) are about this. Until something genuinely new happens, it would be

Would an effective way to forestall this be to set up a website and start suing anyone who visits it from the UK for copyright infringment? I would expect that such lawsuits would be laughed out of court, or strongly ruled in favor of the d

You don't think that the downvotes are due to your tone, or the fact that you're not really adding anything to the conversation? I enjoy insulting people who don't believe in climate change as much as anyone, but never in the context of try

A paid version with more features seems like a safe way to go; moving into the freemium model, somewhat. If not enough people buy it, you can always fold the features into the free version (though be careful about that; people who do buy a

You're using "Isolated DNA" to mean cDNA (a point that I think needs clarifying; you can isolate DNA from cells through other methods). Your metaphor doesn't seem particularly solid to me; it would be more accurate to say that DNA is source

This is a really good example of a difficult to parse headline. Why is the person who was arrested alleged to be Australian? Was he hosting a hacker, or hacking hosting? Or maybe he's alleged to be an Australian who happened to host a hacke

None of this is news. People complain about Google's lack of support all the time; it is a well known issue. Also, complaining about having to use POP or IMAP to pull out your email? Seriously? It's a standard, it lets you import them into

You're missing out too - and I say this as someone who used to only play DF. DF is amazing, but there are tons of other games that are just as amazing or nearly so (Minecraft, Fallout, Terraria, Portal, Spacechem ... dear deity, Spacechem.
