Imagine if everyone knew a bit of serious first aid. That would be good for society. But if a given person chose not to learn, it probably wouldn't hurt them or those around them at all. I look at general education from this angle: it

If a share barely gives you voting rights, and the company does not, and does in the foreseeable future plan to, issue dividends, then what is the inherent value of the stock? Is it just my portion of the proceeds in case of a firesale?

A web app I inherited, for which I do not have the original spec, and initially developed by an outsourced offshore team, had one route that was literally "/obscure/reset_password?user_id=x". A light dawned when I realiz

That would hold if we assume all things which fly (aside from animals, obviously) are under the jurisdiction of the FAA by default . And then then only certain itemized exceptions (like model aircraft as they define them) are not. However,

I'm delving deep here, but it seems that section primarily states what the FAA will not regulate or "not promulgate any rule or regulation regarding". To my reading, it does not state that operation outside those guidelines

One question, in case anyone here knows: if the "1948 'Key West Agreement' (PDF) that put jet fixed-wing aircraft purely in the domain of the Air Force" is a thing, then how come the Navy runs the Blue Angels? https:&#x

I wondered this too. If a small country implements basic income, they really will have to put strict limits on immigration. If the whole world was doing it, it wouldn't matter as much.
